We fly out to New York on November 3 and I will be updating this blog throughout our trip with our latest pictures and details of what we have been up to.

Our itinerary, mapped out above, is as follows:

  • November 13 - we jet half way round the world to Beijing and will spend around three weeks travelling across China
  • November 30 - around two days in Hong Kong
  • December 4 - we will take a train overnight across the border from Nanning, southern China, into Hanoi, Vietnam
  • During two weeks in Vietnam we will visit Ha Long Bay before flying to Bangkok, Thailand
  • Christmas will be spent in Chaing Mai, northern Thailand
  • Throughout January we will travel down through Thailand, into Malaysia and finally onto Singapore
  • Our next flight is out of Singapore on January 30 to Cochin, southern India
  • During our final month we will travel north through India, ending up in Mumbai
  • We fly home and back to Heathrow on March 3
